Memorial Day Weekend

Aimee, Aaron, Bethany, & Courtney came for for the weekend.
We went for a hike on a trial right by Debbie & Duane's new house.

Oscar

Oscar was hit by a car last night and died. He's already missed.

It was a beautiful, sunny day in Duluth so we decided to walk to our favorite, local burger joint for a delicious lunch. A nice, sunny day in Duluth gets us to about 55 to 60 degrees if we're lucky. So for all of you out enjoying warmer temps, I'm so jealous!!! It was Grant's first time going to Big Daddy's and I think he enjoyed the experience.

SECRET THUMB SUCKER!

Last night Grant fell asleep on our bed without his pacifier. I have not seen Grant suck his thumb in months but for the last week or so he has slept all the away through the night with no peeps. Typically he will realize at some point during the night that he has lost his pacifier and let me know. I have a feeling I know now why he doesn't need my help during the night anymore. Don't get me wrong...I am loving it!

My first Mother's Day...a week late! :)

Seriously, I think I might have the cutest boy ever! Last Sunday we had a wonderful, relaxed Mother's day. Jeff and Grandpa Duane grilled some wonderful food for Grandma Debbie and I. We ate like queens and had lots of fun. Jeff's cousin Kayla graduated from college the same day so we went to Darrell and Cindee's house for a dinner party.

Here's a video of Grant's first baby food. It was rice cereal, nothing fancy but he loves it! He figured out how to swallow the cereal really well. We were really proud!

Here's what we've been up to lately!

Grant's buddies Chance and Isaiah came to visit us a couple of weekends ago. They had lots of fun. Isaiah was trying to hold Grant's hand. So cute!

Now that Grant is roughly 18 lbs I (Anna) have a hard time carrying him and the car seat so I just put him in this super cute Hanna Andersson jacket and away we go!

We traveled to the twin cities a week ago for my cousin Tim's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and we had lots of fun. Congrats Tim and Linnea!

If you look closely that isn't Grant that Jeff is holding. That's Max, he is adorable! We got to meet the newest addition to the Larson family.

We also got to hang out with the Miles family!

We were trying to make Eli and Grant hug. Every time we brought them close Grant tried to suck on Eli's face. It was hilarious! Eli wasn't really down with that!Grant is such a big boy, he now can sit up for a little while on his own. We are very proud!
