GOO!

Sorry it's been so long since my mom posted pictures! Here are some long awaited pictures from our recent trip out west to visit my Great-Grandma Ruby. It was loads of fun

Grant's first Easter. We went to a mega church that held their Easter service at the Cardinals stadium.
The weather was beautiful in AZ. We all enjoyed wearing summer clothes! Grant didn't quite know what the make of it all. He'd never felt wind in his face before!

Jeff got a good work out as Grant spent a lot of time in the baby bjorn. We were thankful that Aaron and Duane carried him around some too. A 16 lb baby does a number on one's back!

Last year I really wanted a picture by a giant cactus but it was rainy and cold so I never got one. This year we pulled over in a small town posed for a pic.

More smiles! This is Grant's silky. He loves to hold it next to his face when he goes to sleep.

A couple of days after we got home Grandpa G.P. and Grandma Betty came to visit us. Grant was happy to see them!

Loving the books!

A couple of Wednesdays ago Debbie and Duane watched Grant so I could run errands and get my hair cut and they took these super cute pictures! Then Auntie Aimee took some cute book pictures in Chicago. Grant is more interested in looking and hearing books now that he's getting a little older! Enjoy!

Road Tripping

It's hard to believe it's been a week since we were in Chicago! We had a busy, fun-filled weekend! Grant was a trooper on the 8 hour drive!

We were so excited to celebrate with Katrina Nelson and Bryan Phelan on their wedding day! It was so great to see so many good friends and roommates! :)

We also got to see a lot of family during the weekend!

The picture documents Grant's first trip to Potbelly's, Uncle Aaron's favorite sandwich shop. It was so good! Thanks Aimee and Aaron for letting us stay with you!

G was a good sport being lugged all over Chicago.

Oh man, not again! I think Grant set a record for the most wardrobe changes in a weekend!

We were so blessed to witness Caleb and Jackson's baptism on Sunday. We got to hang out with them on Monday too! It was lots of fun!

Yesterday we had Christmas with Debbie's family in the twin cities. We had a lot of fun! Here are some great pictures of Grant from the day. Grant got a Jumparoo from his cousin Jack.

HAPPY VALENTINE"S DAY!

Grant had a two month check up on Monday and we found out that he is now 14 lbs 5 oz and 24.25 inches long! He is in the 95th percentile for weight and 90th for height.

He is a good sized little boy!

Grant is 2 months old!!

Grant turned 2 months old on Tuesday but due to technical difficulties I couldn't post pictures right away. Grant got this shirt from friends of Jeff's family. Its one of my favorites!

Grant is so smiley now! I finally caught it on camera! We drove back to Duluth with Alison and Eli. They continued on to the twin cities after a short stop at our house. Thanks for the ride!

Playdate

When we were in Gladstone, my good friend Jessyee and her son Nehemiah came to visit us. The boys were facinated with each other! Its going to be fun when they are both a little older and can play together when we go to Gladstone!

How cute is this picture?? Everyday Grant becomes much more interested in looking around at people and the world around him.

We had the hardest time getting a good picture because Grant kept crying when it was time to take the picture!

Grant had a shower this past weekend with his buddy Eli in Gladstone. Elijah Xayd Miles was born two and a half weeks after Grant. I think they look like they could be brothers! Super cute! Jeff had to head back to Duluth to work and Grant and I stayed back in Gladstone for the week to visit with my folks and family.

Grant took his first ride on a spark with my grandpa's tomte. He wasn't super excited about it, hopefully he'll like it better next year!

So I took Grant in for a weight check last week and he weighs 11.5 pounds! I was noticing that all of his 0-3 mos outfits were really tight but I didn't know he was so big! In this picture he is wearing a 3 month outfit! Grant is six weeks old on Wednesday. We just can't believe how fast he is growing!

When all of our immediate family were in Duluth after Christmas and we went to Bentleyville. A family in Cloquet, MN hangs something like 25,000 lights in their backyard. They have cider, coffee and smores. The Johnson's go every year so it was so much fun to have the Nyberg's with this year! It was chilly but we all had a lot of fun.

We took family pictures on Santa's sleigh. We went after Christmas so Santa was back at the North Pole :)

Everyone parks and takes a bus to and from Bentleyville. We had Grant in a baby bjorn and he slept the whole time! He was nice and cozy on daddy's chest.

This is Grant's, "where are you taking me??" look. He doesn't care for the car seat. Auntie Beth sat next to him on the way so it was much more fun than sitting all by himself in the back! :)

Grant is 1 Month Old!

It is really hard to believe that Grant was born a month ago today. Time sure flies bye! He thinks he's a tough guy and holds his head up a lot. He is becoming more and more animated everyday!
