Ready and waiting at 39 weeks...

We got the crib together, the room officially ready and now we wait! Here are some pictures taken a little over a week ago.

I have had some more hilarious reactions to my stomach recently. My mom and I were at Sam's club and a woman offered us a sample of cappuccino. Well, as we kept walking (around the counter) the woman instead of reciting her product information, was in shock at my stomach. She actually gasped and exclaimed, "WOW, YOU'RE PREGNANT! YOU MUST BE DUE SOON!!" It was too funny!

Hopefully I will be able to post some pictures of our new little family member soon! I am so ready to meet this person!

Baking Craziness!

This past weekend was the last weekend of hunting for the MN hunters and the first for the UP hunters so my mom came over to keep me company. We decided to make it a Christmas cookie baking weekend and could not have done it without the help of my Grandma Grace and Aunt Connie. Thanks for coming! Here are some pictures from the weekend.

I was bagging my groceries at Cub and an old man tapped me on the shoulder and said, "I just have to ask, are you trying to steal a pumpkin?!" I just laughed out loud, I didn't know what to say. That little old man made my day. Here's the latest pictures of me and my pumpkin!

Speedy Delivery!

So we have a miles card, and with this miles card you can buy stuff. Once we realized that the car seat and stroller we wanted was available we were super excited! Then we checked into a couple details and well, the delivery time was 4-6 weeks. YIKES! Our baby should be here in about 5, so that's a little scary right? Before we put our order in we secured a back up car seat plan with some friends. WHEW! Crisis averted. Wednesday I put in our order online and didn't think a thing about it. About a half a hour ago the doorbell rang...it was UPS with our travel system!!! I am so impressed! All that worrying for nothin'! Now we have to figure out how to install the carseat because before we know it...it will be occupied by one little johnson baby!

A Little Toots or Jetty Jr.?

In just a few short days I will be at 34 weeks and as we countdown the days we're preparing for our little one to join us. Here are a couple of precious pictures of Jeff and I.

I love this picture of Jeff! Apparently he used to do this a lot when he was a baby. Anyone suprised knowing Jeff now? It looks from my picture that I should have taken his lead and done some push-ups of my own! Look at those thighs!!

Jeff was 7lbs when he was born and I was 9 1/2lbs! We just can't wait to see how much our little one weighs and who he or she looks like! :) As I write, I have a foot sticking about a half inch out the left side of my tummy. This baby is definitely running out of room!

Kitchen Facelift!

Jeff and I have been slowly changing a few things around our house. We finished our kitchen a while ago but I was having a hard time getting the before picture to cooperate. It kept wanting to be horizontal! I finally got it to stay the correct orientation and so here's our kitchen facelift!

Two Cousins and a Farm

In the last seven weeks my two cousins, Danielle and Kaylan got married and my Grandma Grace bought the farm she grew up in with her parents and 6 siblings. The Larson side of the family has been busy!

This past weekend we had our good friends Alison and Daniel from Minneapolis come to visit us in Duluth. Alison is a week behind me with her pregnancy so I thought we should document the visit with a much loved belly pic!
Alison is 27 1/2 weeks and I am 28 1/2 weeks.

27 weeks...can you believe it??

Today marks the beginning of my third trimester! So in honor of this momentous occasion I decided to post a belly shot. Its kinda fun at work right now, our toddlers are starting to realize that I am pregnant. Some of them will come up to me and touch my stomach and ask "baby?" I love it!

Aimee & Aaron got married this weekend! They had a beautiful outdoor wedding at Enger Tower Park in Duluth and a wonderful reception in canal park. I don't have many pictures but here are some snap shots from the day! Hopefully I'll get some more pictures soon!

24 weeks pregnant, 3 years married.

Jeff and I just had our 24 week appointment with the doctor. The baby is doing great, its little heart beating away and its little limbs kicking like crazy. Its so funny how now I think so often in one year from now terms. For instance, a year from now when Jeff and I go out for an anniversary dinner we'll have to get a babysitter (I'm sure we won't have a problem finding someone :) for our 8 month old little boy or girl! How crazy is that?

July, a Month to Celebrate!

Six members of the Johnson-Nyberg family were born in July!

Happy Birthday to Beth, Court, Carl, Jeff, Kevin and Aimee!! We had a little birthday party for the boys in Iron River, MI this weekend.

We were liking the step-stool effect so we added Paul to the mix. :)

Here are all the kiddos, sadly no parents present. :(

It was so good to be back at camp, even if only for a quick moment in time! We did an island trip and went off the "dew" swing a couple of times.

20 Weeks

We got to see our little one yesterday for a cherished half of an hour at the doctor's office.

The baby was sucking its thumb!

It looks like baby johnson has a hole in his/her head but really it was the way the baby was tilted. What a cutie huh? We looked away when the technition took the measurements of the lower half of the body. I have to admit though, it was tempting...

The baby has been very active lately. During the ultrasound it was so amazing to see the little one move and feel it in my abs at the same moment!

Livin' it up on the Cape

We spent the second week of our summer vacation in Cape Cod, MA. We had incredible weather for our week.

We ate at a bunch of local eaterys including this one called "the doghouse." I would venture to say that they had the best onion rings I have ever had!

On Monday it was a bit cloudy so we took a trip up to Provincetown. We came upon the Marconi site where the first transatlantic wireless telegraph was transmitted in 1903. This was what as left of the actual structure.

We went to Boston for a day. Aaron, this one's for you.

My first job was the oldest profession (not really, but I was at a 'hooker' at the family fishing lure company) .

Fourth of July in Happyrock

It's been a long time since we posted anything so here's some long awaited pictures. Jeff and I spent the first week of our vacation at my folks house in Gladstone. Here are some shots of our week.
