HAPPY HALLOWEEN!trick or treat?!

Today was definitely filled with treats for our family! We visited daddy at work today where G won over the hearts of many women. We also discovered that G finally had an upper tooth erupting. This might explain why G was up from 3:30 to 4:30 a.m. last night!! Then, we were hanging out in Jeff's office taking pictures and G took three steps in a row! We were so excited!

G doesn't like to show off his teeth but I caught them on camera. Today, we discovered that he has his first upper tooth erupting. So exciting!!

Best Buds!

This past weekend we got to spend some quality time with our good friends Daniel, Alison and Eli. Grant and Eli had lots of fun playing together. Here are some pictures from the weekend.

You can see Emma in the background. She is the Miles' black lab. Grant now appears to have his own sound for woof. Its really cute!

The second part of our photo shoot was in the apple trees.

Yummy apples!

Grant could not get enough of this apple and then on our way home I noticed that he finally had a little tooth poke through!

Once were two little pumpkins in a pumpkin patch.
The one pumpkin kept crawling away to explore the colorful leaves...

so the pumpkin farmers brought some leaves closer for the little pumpkins to see.

After close examination both pumpkins decided to taste the beautiful leaves.

The littlest pumpkin got one delicious leaf stuck on her face.

Luckily her cousin came to the rescue and plucked the troublesome leaf from her face as gently as an almost ten month old pumpkin could.

and then all was good in the pumpkin patch until...

the bigger pumpkin tried to crawl over the little one. Having survived a near squashing the littlest pumpkin was very content to play in her pumpkin patch.

Grant woke up with some crazy hair yesterday. It was too awesome to pass up!

Where's Grant? G's new favorite thing is to crawl over to the window, pull himself up and hide behind the curtains. I love how he blends in here!


I think we should buy some stock in windex!

One year down, many more to go!

Milestones

G is pulling himself up in his crib. I put him down to play while I ran to get something and when I came back he was standing up and looking at me, laughing because he knew he had done something pretty cool!Then, Jeff and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary on a boat cruise. As you can see we are wearing name tags because it was a dental get-together. The next day we went to a wonderful restaurant, The New Scenic Cafe. It was delicious!
A couple of days later we spent a fun day at our friends' cabin where G took his first ever boat ride! As you can tell from the pictures, he was pretty good but had his moments. Life jackets are essential but not super fun for the kiddos!

Then, G learned to feed himself little finger food snacks! He still misses some but is getting pretty good at hitting the right spot.

This last Friday night, I looked down at G and he was mobile! He was "army crawling" across the floor to get to a toy. As you can imagine, we were so excited!

The final exciting milestone to report I (Anna) have actually not seen! Jeff, Debbie and Duane have witnessed G going from his belly to his bottom. I have been trying to see this incredible task but he hasn't done it in front of me yet!
