Well this Johnson family has been keeping busy this summer!

Here's a quick look into what we've been up to.

We had friends come and stay with us for Grandma's Marathon in Duluth.

G and I (Anna) visited my parents and Grandma at the farm in Quamba. Grant LOVED the riding lawn mower!!

We got to meet our new little cousin Keegan! What a cutie!!

We've been able to do some fun stuff in Duluth too. I love this pictures of G and Auntie Courtney! This picture was taken after we'd stuffed ourselves at the Burger Wars. We estimated that there were 25ish tables of burgers and although you only got a quarter of a burger, that adds up! Needless to say we didn't get to taste every one.

We spent the 4th of July in Gladstone with my family.

Hope you enjoyed the pics! We just got back from family camp at Covenant Park Bible camp. Maybe I'll get some pics up of that in the next month! :) Tomorrow we are off to enjoy some time in Lake Geneva!

Today Jeff and I went to the doctor's office for our 20 week ultrasound!! Here are some of the pictures of our new little one! This little person was a bit shy but still a cutie!

There is some 'interference' in this picture so it's not super clear but you can see the profile. Jeff and I both noticed that this baby and G have completely different noses! We can't wait to meet this little person!!

Here are some pics from our New York trip!

We flew out to NY about a week and a half ago for Emily and Keith's wedding. We had a wonderful weekend!

Having a snack on the plane. This was G's second plane trip. The first was when he was three months old. We were a little nervous flying with a very active 18 month old but he was great!

Our first morning in Pawling, NY, G and I were up earlier than Jeff and I just had to laugh because Grant was giving Jeff his comfort items to help his daddy sleep! There was also a bag of cereal but he snatched them up before I could snap a picture. So cute!

We walked into downtown Pawling for breakfast and ate at McKinney and Doyle Fine Food. It was SO GOOD! A few days later James Earl Jones was seen there!

Grant was obsessed with this little car. There was a dorm family that had a little girl just a few months older than G so we got to use some of their toys. It was great! Notice the bumper sticker? If you look closer there is a hook next to the words.

G fell asleep during the service which was just what we wanted but unfortunately he woke up during the vows and started to scream! Sorry Em & Keith!! Jeff whisked him out of there!

On Monday we took the Metro-North Train into NYC for the day.

On our last plane to MPLS Grant got his own seat. It was so great! He read books, played with a magnadoodle thing and had snacks. I (Anna) got some shut eye and Jeff read his book. It was the perfect end to the trip!

Hello! I bet you all thought I'd abandoned the blog... well, I'll admit I've been lazy but also have been having some issues with downloading pictures to our computer lately! Excuses aside, here's a ton of pictures for you enjoyment! We'll start off first with our new nephew and G's baby cousin Andrew Carl Balsam!! He was born on April 25th and weighed 11 lbs 1 oz. We are so excited to meet this little guy soon!!!

The weekend that Andrew was born we were in St. Paul for Jeff's yearly work conference. So the following pictures are from Sunday to Friday.

We came home from the weekend and Auntie Beth was in town! 

G spent lots of time walking up and down the stairs.

On Saturday, we went to the Minnesota Children's Museum with our friends Alison and Eli.

Grant had a long conversation with this little dog in the Clifford section. I wish I knew what he's saying!

There was an ice fishing exhibit that G liked to play with.

G also really liked the grocery store. It was one of the first places we went and he didn't really understand that there was lots to com

e so it was a little tricky getting him out of there!

We went to Como Zoo on Friday. 

While I was loading up the stroller Grant had a good time playing with leaves.

One of Grant's favorite animals right now is the Giraffe so he was really excited to see these amazing animals.

They had bison too.

We were pretty excited to see that there was a species called Grant's Zebra!

Friday morning we visited with my Grandma Grace.
