July, a Month to Celebrate!

Six members of the Johnson-Nyberg family were born in July!

Happy Birthday to Beth, Court, Carl, Jeff, Kevin and Aimee!! We had a little birthday party for the boys in Iron River, MI this weekend.

We were liking the step-stool effect so we added Paul to the mix. :)

Here are all the kiddos, sadly no parents present. :(

It was so good to be back at camp, even if only for a quick moment in time! We did an island trip and went off the "dew" swing a couple of times.

20 Weeks

We got to see our little one yesterday for a cherished half of an hour at the doctor's office.

The baby was sucking its thumb!

It looks like baby johnson has a hole in his/her head but really it was the way the baby was tilted. What a cutie huh? We looked away when the technition took the measurements of the lower half of the body. I have to admit though, it was tempting...

The baby has been very active lately. During the ultrasound it was so amazing to see the little one move and feel it in my abs at the same moment!

Livin' it up on the Cape

We spent the second week of our summer vacation in Cape Cod, MA. We had incredible weather for our week.

We ate at a bunch of local eaterys including this one called "the doghouse." I would venture to say that they had the best onion rings I have ever had!

On Monday it was a bit cloudy so we took a trip up to Provincetown. We came upon the Marconi site where the first transatlantic wireless telegraph was transmitted in 1903. This was what as left of the actual structure.

We went to Boston for a day. Aaron, this one's for you.

My first job was the oldest profession (not really, but I was at a 'hooker' at the family fishing lure company) .

Fourth of July in Happyrock

It's been a long time since we posted anything so here's some long awaited pictures. Jeff and I spent the first week of our vacation at my folks house in Gladstone. Here are some shots of our week.

My cousin Yanik got his archery badge while in the states. We got to use the bow and arrow after his completed his task. I'm 18 weeks pregant in this picture.

A Nyberg family tradition is to listen to my Uncle Anders' band concert before the fireworks.

One nice Sunday afternoon a couple of weeks ago we decided to see what was under the carpeting in the baby's room. Much to our delight we discovered beautiful hardwood floors! We were so excited that we started painting so we could pull up the floor.

I have been asked if we are expecting a boy because we painted our room blue. The answer is we don't know. We're not finding out the sex of the baby until its birthday which should be around the 8th of December.

This was a special occasion. Jeff got to use his dad's "World's Greatest Dad" mug for the first time.

'nuff said.

Well, really I'm thirteen weeks (don't be fooled by the bump in my sweater) pregnant and we're really excited!

We went to look at some places along the North Shore the day after they got enagaged. Here's Jeff pretending to officiate. He looks kinda scary! :)

When we were in Arizona this past February, Jeff felt compelled to put on these cowboy boots and hat. Today, as we sifted through tons of great Johnson family pictures, I came upon some good ones with Jeff and his sisters. We discovered it was not his first time. Enjoy!

It's Spring!

Although we don't have any flowers or even buds outside, there is almost no snow left. We're keeping our fingers crossed that it stays that way! I can't believe its already been a week since Easter so here's a few pictures of a really fun week/weekend. My folks and grandma came by on their way to Michigan before Easter. We had a great time visiting and playing Wii! My parents were into bowling but we couldn't get my grandma to play...next time!

The whole Johnson family was home for Easter this year. Beth and Court brought their Guitar Hero game home for the weekend. What a great game but boy, did our arms hurt!

Jeff and I had a very busy weekend. On Friday I turned a quarter of a century old. I was sung to my kids at work while they danced and played instruments. It was a great moment I wish I had my camera. After work I went to pick Jeff up from work, got the tour of his office and met all of the wonderful people he works with. Then we continued on to the twin cities to see my parents, grandma and lots of uncles, aunts and cousins. It was a great birthday! I forgot my camera so I don't have any pics right now from the weekend but here is one from the Johnson's party today.

Wii be crazy!

Jeff and I walked into a Walmart one day a little while back and they actually had a Wii in stock. So we bought it! It was an impuse purchase but boy, have we had fun! Here are some shots of Jeff, Aimee and I in action. The games are lots of fun. Jeff and Aimee are boxing but I found out that I need some anger management when I box. That and it made me so sore!

Vacation Rewind... a week of firsts. First trip to AZ, Vegas, Grand Canyon & Hoover Dam for Jeff & myself. My personal firsts were documented in the following pictures. First time in an all you can eat seafood restaurant. First time eating King Crab legs. I also sampled several different kinds of sushi.

I thought my neck was going to break but it was awesome!! We went on the New York, New York ride that circles the hotel.




And well, it wasn't the first time Jeff has explained a dental question using yours truly as the model. A just plain funny picture.

Just minutes before we went to this coffee shop we walked right past Dog, The Bounty Hunter and his entourage. Jeff could have touched him we were so close! In case you were wondering...his hair is just as awesome in person.
